Jane Hoy, with her extensive career as a Child and Youth Worker, recognized the need for strategies beyond behaviour/human resource management. The Virtues Project has proven to provide the necessary strategies needed for character development and leadership at a personal, family, school, organizational and community level.
The culmination of over 25 years experience has made Jane a sought after trainer, facilitator and consultant for her light-hearted yet incisive approach to working with children, youth, parents, corporations and communities. She draws upon many years of experience developing a comprehensive understanding of healthy families and communities
Since 1991, when Jane was introduced to The Virtues Project she has helped many organizations and communities to incorporate the strategies of The Virtues Project into their existing situations with the intention to strive for positive change. Among them are:

Jane continues to enhance her skills with ongoing training in Suicide Intervention, Career Development, Professional Facilitation, Child Abuse Prevention, Trauma and Loss School Specialist, Justice Circles, Adventure Based Counseling, Wrap Around Family Teams, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Prevention, Postpartum Supports, Community Capacity Building and strategic planning for communities addressing social issues.
